The challenge

People are moving away from sickly sweet soft drinks, and embracing more complex and sophisticated flavour profiles in more natural and healthy alternatives. There is also a need for a product which understands people on a human level, connecting with them when it matters most: during life’s messy and silly moments.

The solution

Drift & Bloom is a brand concept for a soda beverage range, with bold and intriguing flavour combinations which truly make us feel something. A bold and witty brand which isn’t afraid to make a statement, Drift & Bloom ties the drinking experience back to life’s moments, embracing our individual uniqueness and personalities.

Design takeaways

With over a decade of design experience now under my belt, the industries and projects I often gravitate back to are those where emotional and sensory design ideas can flourish. And though only a conceptual project, creating Rootwell from scratch has been an opportunity to dive deeper researching the wellness, beauty & lifestyle sectors, and hone many skills including art direction, logo and packaging design and copywriting.
