Chromakane’s fine art & illustration style is inspired by folklore, mythology and Irezumi.
Chromakane began as a passion project for artist and designer Jessie Cohen – a playground for self-expression, as well as a way for her to explore her French-Malaysian Chinese identity. Working across various medium including print, canvas, apparel, home decor and experiential, Jessie is an experimental thinker who will approach each new collection with a keenness to learn new techniques for creation and reproduction – from digital design and giclée printing working with tools like Procreate and Nomad, to lino, screen printing, stencil and spray painting.
Chromakane also raises awareness of creative therapy as an ambassador with Art Is The Cure.
