The challenge

TaxZap were looking for an engaging and playful series of designs for their phased out of home and performance marketing awareness ad campaigns. While Sunday Treat were engaged in video production, there was also a need for graphic design support to ensure a level of design quality and consistency in rolling out these assets.

The solution

Contracted by award-winning video production agency Sunday Treat, I rolled out an existing brand identity and visual assets across three phases of out of home advertising for the London Underground, along with over 100 individual performance marketing ad sets. I was involved in visualising and implementing the artworks from concept to delivery.

Scope

Artworking, Out of home / Billboard design, Performance ad marketing, Social media design, Templating

Design takeaways

  • Digital-first branding. TaxZap built visibility through social media and a “viral fintech” identity, so jumping on this project has been an exciting learning curve to understand growth marketing and short-form content in the space.

  • Collaboration with a production agency team. The dynamic for this project was also really interesting for me, as I worked with a video production agency – learning from them and how they were creating an expression for the TaxZap brand through video content work in turn influenced my design ideas.
