Tropic Skincare
A fast-growing beauty brand founded by entrepreneur Susie Ma – award-winning vegan formulas inspired by the tropics.
The challenge
I submitted a creative campaign concept, as a design response to a trial design task, addressing one of the brand’s core digital focusses for 2026: new customer acquisition. The aim of the brief was to reach as many new customers and audiences as possible within the premium and sustainable skincare market, focussing on Tropic Skincare’s bestselling product, ‘Super Greens’.
The solution
Working with provided product and lifestyle imagery and copy, as well as my own sourced imagery, my response to the brief was a coherent launch campaign using the tagline ‘Feed your skin’. Inspired by the clean ingredients in the ‘Super Greens’ product, I wanted to play on the sensory tones a user might experience when interacting with it.

The brief required that assets designed would need to include a host of clinical data, USPs and ingredients, showcased via paid social, email and web.
Design takeaways
Understanding a brand from the outside. This design solution was a response without any prior knowledge of the brand.
Data-led designing. Creating a solution which is driven by clinical data, serving a purpose of being informative as well as sensory and aesthetically pleasing.
