Chromakane launched in 2020 as an experimental passion project for artist Jessie Cohen. Over the past few years, Chromakane has become a way for Jessie to express her own multicultural identity (being of Malaysian Chinese and French heritage) through bold collections inspired by tradition, folklore, mythology, irezumi and pop art. From art prints, home decor and upcycled apparel pieces, to digital wearables for the web3 space, Chromakane is a playground for self-expression. Each collection is curated, and art piece created, with conscious, ethical and collaborative processes at heart. Chromakane also raises awareness of mental health through creative therapy as an ambassador with Art Is The Cure.
