The challenge
Sheppard Robson and ID:SR required continuous support to not only help shape the practice’s brand identity and marketing collateral as one of the UK’s leading architectural and interior design practices, but also for the documents, presentations, and occasionally wayfinding, signage & supergraphics for client projects.
The solution
Various marketing and client-facing briefs I’ve worked on during almost four years as an in-house graphic designer at the practice – from leaflets and invitation designs to bid and later phase document templating, design and delivery.
Scope
Artworking, Creative direction, Editorial design, Icon design, Illustration, Image retouching, Infographics, Print design, Presentation design, Print production, Supergraphics, Templating, Wayfinding and signage
I had the opportunity to sink my teeth into a wide variety of project work from concept to delivery – including wayfinding, signage and supergraphics for clients like BBC, Battersea Spa and Fitzroy Place.
Design takeaways
A proactive, versatile and hands-on role, working with Sheppard Robson and ID:SR allowed me to hone many skills notably editorial design, information design, illustration, icon design, image retouching, print reproduction and wayfinding. This was especially invaluable for the start of my design career, being entrusted with a wide scope of creative briefs across project teams, with commercial impact for the practice.
